Physical Therapist – UHC Staffing Physical Therapist

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: 5 days per week with rotating weekends, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

• Assess and evaluate patients to determine functional needs and goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, manual therapy and mobility training
• Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate with families
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, safety and fall prevention
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license or eligible to obtain one
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program; DPT preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing or outpatient settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred;
  Master’s or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy acceptable

• Skilled in patient assessment, therapeutic exercise and mobility training
• Familiarity with creating measurable treatment goals and progress notes
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Comfortable with documentation and electronic medical record workflows
• Good time management and prioritization skills in a busy clinical setting
