Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily CT scans; assist with MRI, vascular, diagnostic x-ray and DEXA as needed
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and proper identification
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment following manufacturer and hospital protocols
  • Follow radiation safety standards and adhere to ALARA principles
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration checks, and routine maintenance
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Required:

    CT imaging experience; additional experience in MRI, vascular, diagnostic x-ray, or DEXA is a plus
  • ARRT certification (or equivalent state licensure) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts, weekends, and a rotating night schedule
  • Strong patient communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Advanced certifications or modality-specific credentials (e.g., CT specialty ARRT)
  • Experience with PACS and hospital electronic health records (EHR)
  • Prior experience in emergency or trauma imaging environments
