Job Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician assists Pharmacists in pharmaceutical preparation, distribution, and record‑keeping functions in the delivery of pharmaceutical supplies to patients of all ages in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, hospital, and department policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician or a certification preferred. Applicants attending a pre‑pharmacy or pharmacy school program without experience will be considered.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician required after one year of employment.
