We have a need for an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant in Erie, PA for a long-term assignment beginning October 2026. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule, established surgical team support, and a strong mix of CT and vascular surgery exposure. Open to more details?
Highlights- Assignment Dates: October 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027
- Schedule: Monday
1821601e, 40 hours per week - Hours: Typically 7:00–7:30a start with a 4:30p end time
- Coverage Requirement: Minimum 2 weeks per month
- Call: 1:4 weekend call rotation (Friday 5:00p – Monday 7:00a)
- Weekend Responsibilities: Rounding only; no elective cases scheduled
- Additional Coverage: Must be available for occasional night and weekend coverage to support the existing APP team
- Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients per day
- Required Skills: Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH), surgical closure, CT surgery first assist, and vascular surgery support
- Board Status: Board Certified required
- Licensure: Active PA license required
- DEA: PA DEA required
- Certifications
Required:
ACLS and BLS - Experience: 5–6 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience required
