This position is structured around a defined weekend schedule:
Saturday and Sunday from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., for a total of two 12-hour shifts and 24 hours per week. This weekend-focused role is ideal for candidates seeking concentrated work days with weekdays open for personal pursuits, continuing education, or travel. On-call is anticipated but will be clarified during the interview process, and you should be comfortable with the possibility of call requirements typical of interventional services.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients and procedure rooms for interventional and vascular procedures, operating specialized imaging equipment in angio and neuro suites, supporting physicians during procedures, and monitoring patient status in collaboration with nursing staff. You will contribute to maintaining strict safety protocols, contrast usage guidelines, radiation safety, sterile technique, and proper documentation within the facility's EMR. You may assist with a range of procedures such as diagnostic angiograms, peripheral interventions, neurovascular interventions, and other vascular imaging studies, depending on the facility's caseload and physician practice patterns.

Patient volumes and ratios will vary based on the daily schedule, but you can expect to manage a steady flow of cases typical of a busy interventional service. The environment is fast-paced, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork. You will collaborate closely with supervising technologists and radiology leadership, with ample opportunity to refine your skills in complex imaging and interventional techniques.
