Job Description:
As a Travel MRI Tech, you'll perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients across a variety of clinical settings. You'll work alongside radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans following physician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, ensuring safety and comfort
- Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality
- Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor for adverse reactions
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records and scan documentation
- Ensure adherence to MRI safety regulations, including screening for contraindications
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required
- Active state license or eligibility, as applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety procedures
- Experience with Siemens, GE, or Philips MRI systems preferred
