As a Mental Health Tech, you’ll partner with Psych Nurses to assure safe and quality nursing care in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. In our unit, you will assist patients with their daily living, take vital signs, observe patients behaviors, plan patient activities and/or support groups and respond to crisis situations in a timely, effective manner.
You will be skilled in prevention strategies to avoid crisis and problems that arise for your patients.Develop and Grow Your Career! Invest in furthering your education through seeking certifications or advanced degrees by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full or Part Time status.

Mental Health Technician
Shift7PM-7:30AM (modified self-scheduling)
ExperienceOne year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable experience preferred.
EducationProvider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
