Human Resources Generalist
Reports To:
HR Business Partner
The HR Generalist serves as a key member of the HR Service Center, acting as the first point of contact for employees and managers. This role provides day-to-day HR support, ensures accurate HRIS and employee data management, supports onboarding and employee experience initiatives, and triages HR inquiries to appropriate Centers of Excellence (e.g., LOA/WC, Payroll, Total Rewards).
This position transitions from administrative support to a more proactive, employee-facing HR role focused on service delivery, process consistency, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities HR Service Delivery & Employee Support- Serve as the primary front-line HR contact for employee and manager inquiries
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Triage and route complex issues to appropriate HR functions (LOA/WC, Payroll, HRBP, etc.)
- Ensure timely and consistent resolution of employee concerns
- Maintain and audit employee records in HRIS for accuracy and compliance
- Process employee transactions
- Support documentation and tracking of HR activities and workflows
- Generate reports and support the tracking of HR metrics
- Enhance employee experience through consistent communication and support
- Send out and analyze employee satisfaction surveys
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to leaders
- Assist in monitoring organizational culture
- Support standardized HR processes across locations
- Identify efficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Assist in implementation of HR programs and initiatives
- Maintain HR forms, templates, and documentation
- Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Total Rewards teams to ensure data integrity
- Support training and development coordination as needed
- Provide administrative and operational support to HRBP team
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- 2+ years of HR or administrative experience (HR environment preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
