Associate Director, Admissions Analytics & CRM - Lehigh University

Join Lehigh University's Admissions team as Associate Director and become the driving force behind data-driven enrollment strategies. This role is accountable for delivering analytics that directly inform enrollment strategy, including funnel performance, recruitment effectiveness, and marketing return on investment, supporting senior leadership decision-making across Undergraduate and Graduate Enrollment.

About the Opportunity

Partner within Enrollment Management Services (EMS) and across Admissions offices, LTS, and campus stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, ensure data integrity, and support data-informed decision making. This role advances enrollment strategy through clear, accurate, and timely analytics that inform planning, forecasting, and operations. This position is part of Enrollment Management Services and reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management Services.

Position Number: S84880

This position is a Grade: 11 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $83,910-$102,080 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and lead the CRM reporting strategy to ensure all data outputs align with enrollment priorities and overarching institutional goals.

* Design and maintain comprehensive Slate-based queries, dashboards, and visualizations to track funnel performance and ROI across all academic levels.

* Build scalable, user-friendly, and well-documented reporting frameworks that ensure data accuracy and long-term sustainability.

* Partner with the Office of Institutional Data to integrate CRM analytics with broader business intelligence tools (like Tableau) and data warehousing initiatives.

* Serve as the primary lead for ensuring the accuracy and consistency of Slate data by establishing standardized definitions, reporting logic, and validation processes to resolve quality issues.

* Partner with developers and enterprise teams to synchronize data across university systems (Slate, Banner, etc.) and ensure new CRM initiatives adhere to institutional data standards and best practices.

* Serve as the primary subject-matter expert for enrollment analytics, translating complex data into actionable insights and high-level storytelling to guide senior leadership on resource allocation and institutional strategy.

* Partner with Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions, Financial Aid, and marketing teams to define specific reporting requirements and deliver customized data solutions that meet diverse departmental needs.

* Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and consistency of institutional reporting while providing guidance on data interpretation and maintaining clear documentation of definitions and best practices.

* Ensure seamless enrollment operations by providing Slate development support during peak periods and leading continuous improvements in data visualization and analytics practices.

* Drive institutional success through active knowledge sharing, comprehensive documentation, and ongoing professional development while fulfilling evolving duties aligned with Enrollment Management priorities.

* Provide direct supervision and guidance to data management staff, overseeing the evolution and maturity of the reporting function with a focus on potential expansion and long-term growth.

* Oversee all data updates, change requests, and integrity checks to ensure that underlying information remains consistent, accurate, and fully aligned with institutional governance standards.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems or related field/professional experience

* Master's Degree in a related field (e.g. Data Science, Computer Science or Educational Technology) is preferred. Candidates with relevant professional experience demonstrating measurable outcomes in lieu of a related degree will be considered.

* Five to eight years of related experience

* Extensive Slate Reporting Experience

* Experience with Tableau and/or willingness to learn

* Exceptional data skills

* Previous higher education experience
