Location: Greater Lehigh Valley Area, Pennsylvania (On‑Site)

Compensation: Approximately $100,000 Base Salary

Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance enterprise applications within a growing manufacturing organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between business operations and technology, ensuring systems effectively support day‑to‑day business processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Epicor ERP and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, business processes, reporting, and data analysis. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve system utilization, streamline workflows, and provide meaningful operational insights through reporting and analytics.

ERP Administration & System Support
  • Act as a key resource for Epicor ERP (Kinetic/E10) functionality and user support
  • Investigate and resolve system‑related issues while coordinating with internal IT teams and external partners when necessary.
  • Maintain system performance, data accuracy, and overall application reliability.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, testing efforts, system enhancements, and implementation projects.
User Support & Training
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to business users across multiple departments.
  • Create and maintain training materials, process documentation, and best‑practice guides.
  • Assist employees in maximizing ERP functionality and adopting improved business processes.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for system questions and process guidance.
Business Process Improvement
  • Partner with operations, customer service, procurement, production, quality, supply chain, and accounting teams to understand business requirements.
  • Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for greater efficiency through technology and process improvement.
  • Assist in documenting and standardizing procedures across the organization.
  • Support initiatives that improve visibility, productivity, and operational performance.
Reporting, Analytics & KPI Development
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
  • Utilize Epicor reporting tools, SQL, Excel, and Power BI to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Create and track key performance indicators supporting operational and financial objectives.
  • Analyze trends and business data to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy and data consistency across systems.
Systems IT & Technical
  • Provide front‑line technical support for users as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and application‑related issues.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure timely issue resolution and strong internal customer support.
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through completion.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
Preferred
  • Experience 3+ years supporting ERP systems within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience working with Epicor ERP (Kinetic or E10) is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting business users and improving operational processes through technology.
Technology
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end business processes including Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay.
  • Strong ERP functional knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with SQL reporting and database queries.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
