Position Summary
You will be a key member of the Digital Medicine team, shaping strategy and delivery of digital tools that support development and safe use of medicines.
Responsibilities- Define and lead digital medicine strategies for clinical programs and studies across Respiratory, Immunology and Inflammation.
- Guide cross-functional teams to design, develop and validate digital biomarkers, digital endpoints, and digital measures.
- Identify connected-device and other digital medicine solutions, including AI opportunities; contribute to business cases for development/deployment.
- Collaborate with clinical development, regulatory, safety and data teams to ensure scientific and regulatory rigor.
- Identify, engage and oversee external partnerships to accelerate capability and delivery.
- Upskill clinical study teams (and wider organization) on digital medicine solutions.
- Champion pragmatic evidence generation and implementation plans for adoption by clinical teams and health systems.
- Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, MD, PharmD) or equivalent experience in life sciences, clinical research, biomedical engineering, data science or related discipline.
- Experience in clinical development, digital health, translational medicine or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital medicine/digital health product development or digital biomarker programs.
- Track record influencing senior stakeholders in complex matrixed organizations.
- Experience with regulatory interactions/submissions involving digital endpoints or software as a medical device.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary matrix teams (scientists, clinicians, engineers, data scientists).
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Therapy area understanding (Respiratory, Immunology and/or Inflammation) with hands-on clinical trial design/operationalization.
- Real-world evidence, remote/decentralized trials.
- Knowledge of clinical validation methods for digital biomarkers and relevant health authority guidance.
- Product management/user-centered product translation.
- Device connectivity, mobile apps, wearables, sensors, interoperable health data standards.
- Project management (vendors, budgets, timelines, risks).
