Technical Project Manager

• Plan and oversee technical initiatives to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion
• Organize and control resources and processes to achieve technical project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints
• Advise on scope changes, quality assurance, and other technical aspects of projects
• Provide technical expertise and organizational leadership in areas of specialization
• Identify complex business problems, environments, and objectives and align them with organizational strategies
• Establish project goals and develop plans to meet those goals
• Maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and expected status reports
• Manage specifications, designs, constructions, and updates of efficient project workplans for small- to medium-complexity projects
• Use project management methodologies to track performance, schedule adherence, and risks
• Coordinate project team members, develop schedules, and assign individual responsibilities
• Implement strategies to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Organize meetings to discuss project goals, daily technology-team tasks, and progress
• Monitor development and testing of disaster recovery procedures
• Coordinate project go-live logistics

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Sciences and Technology, Information Management, or related fields, or High School Diploma/GED and 7 years preferred work experience
• 5 years progressive experience in information technology, healthcare, or business project management related fields
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve problems and interpret data
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a team environment, and to be self-motivated and self-disciplined
• Knowledge of processes of assigned areas, applications, and technologies
• Ability to effectively deal with multiple and changing priorities
• Ability to complete projects on time and on budget with minimal supervision and/or direction
• Strong research and strategic analysis skills
• Knowledge of various project management techniques to keep teams aligned and focused on milestone-level task reporting
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.; frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
