Main Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and order materials to support Swiftwater production plans using MRP/re-order point methods in SAP.
- Manage critical materials in a 0–36 month monthly planning cycle; optimize inventory availability and safety stock while minimizing stockout, obsolescence, and expiration.
- Serve as PCU Raw Material Planning Lead: represent planners at PCU meetings and lead cross‑functional critical materials discussions.
- Act as SAP/material planning SME: perform software upgrade scoping, UAT/regression testing, and planner training.
- Review SAP Purchase Requisition recommendations and convert to Purchase Orders; send orders/schedule lines to suppliers and maintain order acknowledgments/receipt dates in‑system.
- Assess material availability, mitigate constraints, and manage shortages with the Site Planner or Scheduler.
- Coordinate supplier risk management: monitor supply status, communicate rolling forecasts (up to 36 months), coordinate shortage risks with the Industrial Planner, and ensure on‑time delivery for testing/use.
- Own and maintain master data (safety stocks, reorder points, planning methods, lead times, etc.), analyze performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support material destruction orders (MDOs), handle inspection/discrepancies with PQMR/QC/Logistics, and coordinate returns.
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in supply chain planning (pharma preferred); strong MRP/ERP concepts and complex supplier relationship experience.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred.
- SAP experience preferred; advanced Excel and analytical skills; strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business logistics/supply chain or related field, or technical/engineering/science.
- Fluent in English.
