Logistics Project Manager, Associate Director, Hybrid

Role:
Manage global clinical supply logistics within Merck's GCS organization, focusing on optimizing the end-to-end distribution of investigational products for clinical trials.

Responsibilities: partnering with internal and external stakeholders such as clinical supply planning, CMOs, trade compliance, and logistics providers to improve distribution processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support timely delivery to global clinical sites. The role also involves monitoring logistics performance, identifying process gaps, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years' experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical operations with a high school diploma; knowledge of international shipping, customs, GMP/GDP, and global supply chain participants; strong analytical, project management, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred:
Experience with clinical supply processes, SAP or similar systems, and understanding of trial logistics including packaging and labeling.

The position entails 10% travel, operates in a hybrid work setting, and involves working within a regulated environment supporting clinical trial supply operations in a biopharma context.
