We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support our operations in the Greater Pittsburgh area. This role is responsible for leading both field execution and project management efforts across complex repair and restoration projects. As a Construction Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects that make our nation’s structures stronger and last longer—leading teams in the field while maintaining full ownership of project performance.

Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and oversee field teams, including Foremen and union craft workers
  • Manage daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high quality
  • Conduct pre-project and pre-task planning, ensuring alignment across all teams
  • Promote and uphold PULLMAN’s Safety 24/7 culture
  • Train, mentor, and support the development of field personnel

Project Management & Operations

  • Manage self-performed concrete repair and restoration projects from start to finish
  • Maintain profit and loss responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with field leadership
  • Prepare contracts and support negotiations and revisions as needed
  • Coordinate with Estimating and Business Development teams to support bid reviews and proposal development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Coordination & Oversight

  • Oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment between field execution and financial performance
  • Monitor production, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure all project documentation and reporting is accurate and timely
Qualifications
  • 7–12+ years of construction leadership experience, including both field leadership and project management
  • Proven experience managing projects in the $1M–$5M+ range
  • Experience with concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, façade restoration, or similar scopes
  • Experience working with and leading union labor crews
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project execution
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/forecasting tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to travel 20–30% as needed
