Principal Project Manager

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Principal Project Manager at Newtown Square, PA, to manage large scale, high risk, strategic projects that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors.

• Establish “Trusted Advisor” relationships with project executives and all relevant stakeholder groups.
• Oversee the installation and client acceptance of SAP and non‑SAP software systems or system integration projects, serving as a trusted partner for a dedicated customer managing a sustainable and long‑term engagement holistically.
• Accountable for customer satisfaction, schedules, deliverables, overall success and satisfaction, and billable and funded via existing delivery engagements.
• Monitor customer engagement and budget/spending, ensuring compliance with governance process aligned with all stakeholders.
• Organize inter‑departmental activities, ensuring the project/product is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Manage cost of all projects within the portfolio.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field with seven (7) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience, or Master’s degree with five (5) years of experience.
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years in each of the following:
  Microsoft Project (MPP); SAP Methodologies (Activate, Design Thinking, and Scrum & Agile); SAP Solution Manager; PMBOK (Process guidelines, best practices); SAP Technologies (FIORI Development and ABAP Programming); SAP S/4 HANA.
• Certification: PMI Certified Project Management Professional.
• Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
• Compensation: Annual base salary range: $213,824 – $272,720. Targeted combined range: $213,824 – $340,900.
