* *** Your Challenge:
*** Install, move, reconstruct, repair and rebuild machines and major site equipment requiring planning and improvisation of methods.
* This includes day-to-day repair, modification and/or replacement of Test Loops.
* PM work includes laser alignment.
* Machine repair parts as required.
* Mechanic's hand tools, portable power tools, material handling equipment, pneumatic winches, hammer drills, large power hoists, ladders, scaffolds, cable slings, precision levels, laser transit, monitoring equipment including instrumentation, and pressure gauges.
* Operate a lathe and milling machine, and required machinist equipment. Use department communication devices.
* All types of machine tools, such as, but not limited to conventional equipment, numerical-controlled equipment, boilers, pumps, and all types of raw materials, i.e., structural steel material, bar and flat sock, soldering and other metal joining materials.

* What You Bring:

*** High School graduate plus completion of a four-year Mechanic Millwright Apprenticeship or a two-year Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology
* Four years' experience working in the Mechanic Millwright repair field. Prior machining experience, such as lathe, milling machine, boring mill, etc.
* Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
