Manufacturing Production, Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
This role requires operating machines and production equipment safely, rotating between various equipment on different lines, and assisting in shipping and receiving operations. A critical aspect of this position includes driving a forklift and maintaining palletizing equipment.
Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions.
Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications.
Ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and meets quality control standards to deliver high-quality products.
Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products.
Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
Participate in HPS activities.
DMS-Daily Management System: CILT, CL, DH.
DH-Defect Handling.
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on palletizing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with palletizing machinery to minimize downtime.
Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading materials and verifying inventory.
Acquire multiple task skills to effectively backfill any outages in specific areas of production.
Qualifications- 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Current forklift certification or ability to become certified.
- Demonstrated desire and capacity for continuous learning of new work methods and technology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a computer, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Acts as a role model and provides direct feedback to encourage appropriate work behaviors.
- Shares skills and knowledge with other team members.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
2 nd Shift
Hours:
Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 10:30pm OR 3 rd Shift
Hours:
Sunday – Thursday 10:30pm – 6:30am.
