Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities:
* Develope and optimize CNC machining proccesses, ensuring efficient cost-effe4ive production.
* Design and improve tooling, fixtures and work holding solutions for CNC machines.
* Work closely with machinists, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
* Conduct time studies and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve cycle times and reduce costs.
* Oversee new product introduction, ensuring smooth transition from design to production.
* Collaborate with quality control to maintain high standards and implement corrective actions when needed.
* Support maintenance team in troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manufacturing Engineer
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
* 3+ years' experience in CNC machining, process engineering, or alternatively an associate's degree in mechanical /manufacturing engineering or related manufacturing setting
* Strong knowledge of G-code programming, CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX or Fusion 360)
* Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D models.
* Excellent problem solving, communication, and project management skills.
* Demonstrates leadership ability.
* Attention to detail required.
Skills/
Competencies:
* Excellent reading, written, verbal listening and overall communication and comprehension skills.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, charts, tables, other written instructions, and various symbols including GD&T principles.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work cross functionally and interact with various levels of the organization.
* Must have good problem solving, organizational, time management, conflict resolution, and planning skills
* Attention to detail required
* Strong analytical, geometrical, process engineering skills
* Operational familiarity with CAD/Cam software programs
* Experience with large Conventional and CNC machining practices.
