Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri (7am - 3:30pm)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and knowledgeable individual to join our Quality team. This role will inspect materials and products, provide quality support with knowledge of inspection procedures and tools, identify deviations, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to document non‑conforming materials and ensure products meet established standards. A Quality Inspector works with a team to guarantee all products meet quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming, in‑process, and final inspections on in‑house and vendor‑supplied parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and GD&T to verify product accuracy.
  • Operate inspection and measurement equipment including CMM, Keyence systems, and PMI guns.
  • Conduct quality audits of assigned production areas to ensure adherence to standard work and procedures.
  • Identify, document, and report non‑conforming materials, defects, and process deviations.
  • Inspect and verify finished products prior to shipment to ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Perform quality inspections on electronic assemblies and soldering workmanship following ESD‑safe practices.
  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies to identify defects and ensure product functionality.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation in compliance with ISO standards and company procedures.
  • Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained; report issues as needed.
  • Collect product/material samples for testing and coordinate with quality laboratories when additional analysis is required.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives including NCM documentation.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, EHS, and 5S standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs individually or 70 lbs with team assistance and support daily operational goals.
  • Attend training programs to enhance technical, quality, and product knowledge.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of quality experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret bill of materials, work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience operating precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and comparators.
  • Strong time management, adaptability, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SSO logins, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented manufacturing environment.
Work Environment & Requirements
  • Fully onsite position in a climate‑controlled manufacturing facility.
  • Required use of protective eyewear and safety footwear.
  • Ability to comply with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
