We are currently seeking an experienced
** Maintenance Technician
** to join our team.
** Position Overview
** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installation of the plant’s equipment. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient operations by maintaining equipment.
** Key Responsibilities
**** Main Duties
*** Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
* Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
* Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
* Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
* Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
* Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
* Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
* Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
* Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
** Safety & Compliance
*** Follow all safety procedures and immediately report hazards or unsafe conditions.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations.
* Assist with emergency response procedures when required.
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
* Able to lift 50lbs.
* Assist with the training of additional employees.
** Other Duties
*** Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred
* 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance
* Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
* Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools
* Strong attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Capable of bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
* Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
