Location: 910 Back Road, Berwick, Pennsylvania 18603
Shift: 8hr‑3rd Shift (United States of America) Sunday – Thursday 11:30pm – 8am
Pay: $18.50 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium (Total $20 per hour start)
Responsibilities- Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies.
- Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.
- Demonstrates a teamwork attitude by working well and effectively with others.
- Adheres to company general manufacturing policies.
- Keeps the work area neat, clean, and organized.
- Monitors conveyor belts and clears bottle jams from lines.
- Picks up dropped bottles from the production floor and places them into designated bins.
- Places discarded bottles into grinder, if applicable.
- Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
- Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
- Immediately escalates all bottle abnormalities, defects and quality issues when found.
- Monitors supply levels of packaging materials and replenishes as needed.
- Ensures correct labeling, bottle description and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
- Moves finished goods to designated area.
- Ensures efficient set‑up and organization of workstations.
- Maintains inventory levels and restocks supplies as needed to facilitate smooth transitions between shifts.
- Improper mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
- Other duties as assigned by management; duties may differ by plant based on equipment and plant design.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Basic computer experience required.
- Preferred high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of Altium Production/Packaging Associate I training within 90 days of hire date.
Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to grasp, handle, or feel; reaching, over, and below. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities unless mandatory difficulties impose undue hardship.
Work EnvironmentEmployees are exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level is usually loud. Temperatures may fluctuate between hot and cold. Personal protective equipment is required in the production department and other designated areas.
