Full Time Craft Work Production — Douglassville, PA, US

Salary Range: $25.00–$34.00 hourly

Location & Schedule

Location: 531 Old Swede Road – Douglassville, PA 19518

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30PM–10:00PM, Full-time on-site

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate up to $34/hour based on experience, skills, and market data—top‑of‑range reserved for candidates with strong experience and independent setup capability + $5/hour shift differential

What This Role Really Is

This machining role combines CNC and manual responsibilities. Depending on production needs, you’ll set up and operate CNC equipment, run manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and boring mills, and support the production of custom, low‑volume components. Success requires strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and adaptability to varied part configurations.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
  • Learn ACECO machining standards, workflows, and safety expectations
  • Independently set up and run CNC machines on assigned jobs
  • Make adjustments to maintain tolerances and improve quality
  • Produce parts with minimal rework or scrap
  • Build trust with team through consistency and ownership
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining equipment
  • Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, drill presses, and boring mills
  • Perform machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes as needed
  • Select machining methods and sequences based on part requirements
  • Produce precision components that meet blueprint specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor machining operations and verify dimensional accuracy throughout production
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements
  • Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Select appropriate tooling and understand material behavior (primarily steel)
  • Perform basic tool maintenance and support jig/fixture setup
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
