At Furmano Foods, you’ll work as a Bean Dumper handling the dry bean lines, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety for our retail and food service markets.

Responsibilities
  • Help govern the flow of our Dry Beans lines, maximizing and increasing efficiency and safety while maintaining quality.
  • Look ahead and prepare for line changes.
  • Follow all GMPs associated with this position.
  • Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by action, communication, and helping co‑workers.
  • Complete daily documentation accurately.
  • Complete required annual training and testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Dependable.
    • Mechanical aptitude to spot preventive problems and make minor adjustments to machinery.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Forklift certified.
    Food Safety Responsibility

    Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.

    Position Requirements

    Must have the ability to operate a forklift and pass a company certification test for forklift operation.

    Schedule

    2nd Shift: 3pm‑11pm / night shift / Overtime. Position hours may vary seasonally, typically Monday‑Friday, often Saturday. 12‑hour shifts may be required during busy times.

    Location & Commute

    Northumberland, PA 17857 – reliable commute or relocate before starting (required).

    Salary

    Up to $19.56 per hour. Bonus incentives include 2nd/3rd Shift Differential –$1.00 per hour, Attendance Bonus –$0.50 per hour, 1st Pass Quality Bonus –$0.50 per hour.
