Job Description
This position is responsible for performing electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, and support production assembly tasks. These tasks are repetitive and involve building, assembling and testing routine units.
Role and Responsibilities- Perform routine tasks in component assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing components, final test, and packaging for shipment.
- Use common hand tools such as wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque drivers, pliers, vacuum/pressure chambers, and soldering equipment. Solder fine wires and flex circuits.
- Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions; work with process engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve quality.
- Accurately document production processes and checks; follow parts lists and record lot numbers and production scrap.
- Organize work independently and work in fast‑paced environments.
- Be able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
- Have experience with hand soldering and using a microscope (preferred).
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in ultrasonic sensor or piezoelectric ceramic device manufacturing (highly preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to do basic arithmetic in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Basic skill level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Ability to read gauges and weighing scales.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work around hazardous materials including wearing PPE.
- Valid driver’s license.
- US citizenship required.
