Charleroi, PA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate multi-axis CNC machines to manufacture high-quality precision parts according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CNC lathes and mills, quality inspection, machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties:
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment to produce precision components.
  • Perform machine setup, calibration, tool changes, and tool management.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make programming or process adjustments as needed.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Operate a forklift as needed after successful certification.
  • Assist in training or mentoring less experienced machinists when appropriate.
  • Complete additional shop duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements/

Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Experience with API threads preferred.
  • Previous quality control inspection and precision measurement experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency operating Okuma Multus B400 and Okuma Multus 750 CNC lathes.
  • Experience operating Okuma MU500 CNC mills.
  • Strong knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to become forklift certified.
  • Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently perform repetitive hand movements while operating machinery and handling tools.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently operate machinery, power tools, and foot controls.
  • Work primarily indoors in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, industrial noise, chemicals, fumes, and occasional outdoor temperatures.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Must possess adequate depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision to safely perform machining and inspection duties.
