Production Associate

Bethlehem, PA Tuesday - Friday 12-hour Shifts 7:00 pm - 7:00 AM $18 per hour

Premier food manufacturer is seeking a machine operator who can ensure a quality product while adhering to customer specifications. Employee will safely operate machinery and equipment used in producing ingredients, product parts or in packaging.

• Able to work in a GMP facility and follow all requirements
• Run, feed and maintain the production machinery
• Makes sound decisions based on supervisor guidance
• Works in an organized manner to meet daily goals
• Responsible for work done and focused on improving
• Clearly communicates to others and actively listens
• Read and write English

Skills and Knowledge of a Production Associate

• 1+ year production experience, in a GMP facility is preferred
• Load machinery to maintain production schedule
• Make setting adjustments on equipment as necessary during the production run.
• Comply with GMP's, safety, quality, and SOPs.
• Ensure that the equipment to be operated is in good mechanical condition by visual inspection, identify any problems and contact maintenance for repair.
• May be required to shut the equipment down and prepare it for cleaning.
• Complete all required reports, documentation, etc.

Physical Requirements for a Production Associate

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to constantly stand/walk, bend and twist throughout the shift.
• Significant visual acuity for computer screen, small objects on the line or equipment, and ingredient problems.
