We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint finishes to our specialized equipment, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing results. This position requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in painting techniques, and a commitment to delivering products that meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of equipment for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Fill and smooth imperfections, ensuring a clean and even surface for paint application.
• Apply paint finishes using various techniques, including spraying, rolling, and brushing.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve specified finishes and color schemes.
• Conduct inspections to ensure the quality and consistency of painted surfaces.
• Address any imperfections or deviations from specifications promptly.
• Properly clean and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns and brushes.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of painting tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Work Environment

The work environment includes large-scale fabrication, assembly bays, and testing floors for building vehicle-mounted aerial lifts from scratch. The production layout is designed for heavy manufacturing processes, utilizing overhead cranes, industrial laser cutters, and dedicated quality assurance zones. Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime on Fridays, and flexibility to work second shift in the future is required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
