Content Marketing Manager

About the Role

This position is ideal for experienced marketing professionals that are interested in the autonomy and variety of creating, executing and managing marketing plans for a small group of clients. It’s like running your own ad agency inside of a bigger agency. The ideal candidate will excel at project management, digital marketing strategy and content marketing.

• Manage client marketing projects to meet deliverables and deadlines
• Develop and present article topics, messaging and marketing strategy to clients
• Research, write and edit content aimed at B2B audiences including press releases, social, email, blogs, webpages and e-books
• Conduct SEO research and analysis
• Create and send email newsletters and email blasts
• Post website content in Word Press CMS
• Provide reporting and strategic analysis for executed marketing campaigns
• Write, edit, and schedule social media content
• Interview clients, their customers and business associates
• Internet research to supplement client-supplied information
• Contribute to strategy and brand messaging

• A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
• A minimum of five years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably with technology topics
• A minimum of five years of marketing experience with a proven track record of managing clients/contractors, projects and budgets
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with clients
• Strong proofreading skills with the utmost attention to detail
• Strong project management, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
