- Nights 10:30pm-7:00am, every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Rates starting at $17.00/hour PLUS shift differentials of $1.50 and an additional $1.00 when working weekends!

At Frederick Living Communities, the Memory Support Nurse Aide provides direct care to residents in Aspen while promoting independence and person-centered care. This role ensures residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility to and from meals and activities
  • Support residents with eating and drinking, including meal selection, cueing, and hands‑on assistance as needed
  • Offer snacks and hydration throughout the day
  • Provide redirection and de‑escalation techniques for residents with cognitive impairments
  • Record and report resident eating habits and vital signs to the coordinator or charge nurse
  • Encourage resident participation in leisure activities, social events, walking programs, or other therapeutic activities
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures
  • Maintain resident records accurately and in a timely manner
  • Administer medications as defined by the medication procedure and physicians’ orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents
  • Change bed linens and wash residents’ laundry as needed
  • Respond promptly to resident requests and emergencies, including those from family, visitors, or staff
  • Monitor resident location and notify the Nurse Supervisor/PC Manager if a resident cannot be located
  • Follow proper procedures during emergencies and obtain additional assistance when necessary
  • Work all assigned tours of duty
  • Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • Medication course certification required
  • Minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually
  • Prior experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension
  • Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
  • Commitment to person-centered care practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships
  • Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed
