We are hiring an Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) in the Wilkes Barre, PA area to provide comprehensive medical care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Schedule- Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
- Patient evaluations including histories and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostics (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Educate patients and families on care plans and preventive health
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Conduct daily rounds and manage hospitalized patients
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
- Respond to acute changes in condition
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
- Provide primary and/or specialty care in a clinic setting
- Manage patient panels and follow‑up visits
- Perform routine exams, preventive care, and chronic disease management
- Coordinate referrals to specialists
- NP: Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing;
Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, etc.) - PA: Graduate of an accredited PA program; NCCPA certified
- Active state license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, or specialty care preferred
