Job Details
Clinical Research Nursing position dedicated to the Neuromuscular Neurology Division within the Farber Institute for Neuroscience, working on Investigator Initiated and Industry Sponsored Trials. This position may require home visits with research participants.
Responsibilities- Performs basic nursing skills, study coordination, and data management
- Focuses on subject recruitment and enrollment
- Ensures consistency of study implementation
- Maintains data integrity and proper data management
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting
- Preferred experience in Neurology and Neuromuscular Disorders (e.g., Stiff Person Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis)
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in alignment with Jefferson values
- Collects and documents clinical data from study participants
- Provides patient education related to research studies
- Obtains informed consent and supports clinical trial enrollment
- Coordinates with consortium members and participating institutions
- Organizes and schedules meetings; records and distributes minutes
- Tracks and reports study progress
- May collect and process tissue specimens for analysis
- Collaborates with the research team on goals, implementation, and evaluation
- Supports adherence to protocol guidelines
- Assists in organizing and managing research data
- Education:
Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years RN clinical experience in a health care setting. Clinical research experience preferred. - Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements: PA RN License
