Job Summary

Part‑time Registered Nurse at The Meadows Psychiatric Center, mandatory shift 7am‑7:30pm with every other weekend rotation. Facility: 119‑bed inpatient behavioral health on a 52‑acre campus in Central PA.

• Provide nursing care for patients on the Child, Adolescent, Stabilization, and Adult Units.
• Prescribe, coordinate, delegate, and oversee nursing care and unit activities for each shift.
• Complete nursing assessments and document patient care and progress each shift.
• Perform Columbia Suicide Assessment on all new admissions and whenever risk changes.
• Facilitate medication administration, ensuring safe practices and patient education.
• Respond to crisis/emergency events, directing staff and ensuring patient safety.
• Attend Treatment Team meetings to aid in developing patient care plans.
• Supervise Mental Health Technicians and Licensed Practical Nurses on the unit.

• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or temporary permit to practice
• Genuine interest in psychiatric nursing
• Previous psychiatric nursing experience preferred, but not required (on‑job training provided)
