Good Shepherd Home Bethlehem is a 60-bed long-term care facility that offers intermediate, heavy, or skilled nursing care for persons with physical disabilities ages 18 years and older. We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our family!

The CNA will provide and participate in the delivery of basic nursing care such as grooming, oral feeding, transfers, toileting, oral care, weight taking, vital signs, etc., as well as maintenance of the unit environment, all under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Assists and/or renders activities of daily living to residents
• Ensures resident safety
• Maintains a safe & clean working environment
• Ensures operation of equipment
• Demonstrates financial accountability
• Maintains professional & technical knowledge
• Maintains cooperative relationships among health care teams
• Contributes to organizational team effort

• High School Diploma required
• Previous rehabilitation or LTC experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required
• Basic Life Support / CPR, as a healthcare provider, per the American Heart Association required within 30 days of employment. Certification must be maintained throughout employment.
