Research Assistant/Associate, Research Scientist, Biomedical Science
Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute is searching for a Research Associate I to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.
We are seeking a creative and upbeat Research Associate I that will assist in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.
Responsibilities- Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
- May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
- Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Researches and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Reporting to sponsors.
- Research drone systems.
- Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
- Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor''s Degree

- Data Evaluation
- 1-3 Years of Research Experience
- 1-3 Years of Research Lab Experience
- 1-3 Years of Research Methodology Experience
- 1-3 Year of Data Collection and Analysis Experience
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
