Smiles and greets customers, answers questions, and resolves concerns in a polite and professional manner.;
Operates front-end scanning equipment and cash register and completes checkout procedures including bagging merchandise and placing merchandise in customer's cart.;
Ensures accurate transactions and proper cash handling, including cash, checks, electronic payment and coupons.;
Follows store policies and legal guidelines regarding sale of tobacco and alcohol; maintains security over cash drawer to avoid overages/shortages.;
Maintains sanitation and cleaning schedules; keeps work areas clean and compliant with health and OSHA requirements.
