Part‑Time Sales Associate – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC)
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, helping shoppers find products.
- Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
- Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
- Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
- Safely lift products weighing 30–60 pounds, ensuring personal safety and product protection.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Follow all legal guidelines to sell alcohol only to legally permitted customers.
- Maintain a friendly, team‑oriented environment.
- Permanent part‑time employment.
- Preferred availability: 20–32 hours per week (typically 4–8 hours per shift).
- Shift scheduling: weekdays and weekends, daytime and evening hours.
- Minimum 13 hours per week required, with opportunity to work up to 32 hours.
- Store located on Brownsville Road/Carrick; public transportation available via Port Authority Bus Line.
- No telework allowed.
- Opportunity to work additional shifts upon discussion with the General Manager.
- Daily store hours:
Monday 11:00 am‑7:30 pm;
Tuesday 11:00 am‑7:30 pm;
Wednesday 9:00 am‑9:30 pm;
Thursday 7:00 am‑9:30 pm;
Friday 9:00 am‑9:30 pm;
Saturday 9:00 am‑9:30 pm;
Sunday closed. - Applications are non‑transferable; candidates must be willing to work at the specified location.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Must pass a background investigation; felony convictions within last ten years prohibited.
Eligible for Affordable Care Act / Bronze Plan medical benefits from the first day of employment. Salary:
Starting salary fixed at the minimum state listed and not negotiable.
