Automotive Used Car Manager and Buyer

Job Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, data-driven Used Car Manager & Buyer to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations. You will manage inventory life cycle, price vehicles aggressively for the market, and source high-quality inventory through auctions, trade-ins, and direct purchases.

• Inventory Sourcing: Buy vehicles through digital auctions, physical auctions, and street purchases.
• Appraisals: Evaluate customer trade-ins accurately using real-time market data.
• Pricing Strategy: Set and adjust retail prices to maximize turn rate and profitability.
• Reconditioning Management: Coordinate with the service department for rapid vehicle turn‑around.
• Team Leadership: Train and motivate the sales team to hold gross profit on used inventory.
• Digital Merchandising: Ensure online listings have high-quality photos and compelling descriptions.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of automotive used car management or buying experience.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with inventory tools like Max Digital Tekion.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of current wholesale auction trends and market values.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical decision-making, and financial management skills.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
