We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 to join our Fine Wine & Good Spirits store at Baltimore Pike in Springfield. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of the store while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and develop a team, drive sales, and maintain high standards of store presentation.
Roles & Responsibilities- Store Leadership: Supervise and manage store operations, assign tasks, inspect work, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Team Support: Provide motivation, direction, and training to employees as they complete assigned tasks
- Customer Service: Address inquiries, resolve issues, and assist customers with product selection; handle licensee orders; help maintain a positive shopping experience
- General Operations: Participate in sales activities, manage inventory, and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment for both customers and staff
- Management Assistance: Work with the General Manager on merchandise management, sales, cash accounting, record maintenance, staff training, performance reviews, and creating a positive, team-oriented environment

- Full-time employment
- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly
- Telework: No telework option for this position
- Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases

- One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B (or equivalent)
- Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A (or equivalent)
- Three years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2 (or equivalent)
- Three years of lead or supervisory retail sales work
- Must meet Pennsylvania residency requirement
- Must be able to perform essential job functions
- Must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
