Sales Associate; Part-Time – Village of Pines in Wexford, Towne Centre Drive, Wexford

Position Overview

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring Part‑Time Sales Associates – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) for Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, including Store #9208 in Wexford. The role offers competitive pay, the opportunity to work part‑time (up to 32 hours per week, minimum 13 hours), and benefits such as the Affordable Care Act / Bronze Plan medical coverage starting the first day of employment.

• Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find needed items.
• Manage sales transactions using a computerized cash register.
• Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
• Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders for delivery.
• Safely lift products up to 60 pounds; stand for extended periods; keep the store clean and organized.
• Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers legally permitted.
• Work within a friendly, team‑oriented environment.

Work hours are flexible and may vary from 4‑ to 7‑hour shifts, rotating week and weekend daytime and evening hours. Preferred availability is 32 hours per week. The store’s regular hours are Monday‑Saturday 9:00 am–10:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am–7:00 pm; schedules may change.

Salary is fixed at the minimum state schedule for new Commonwealth employees and is not negotiable.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a background investigation; felonies in last ten years disqualify.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States and in Pennsylvania.
• Must be able to operate a cashier's register and use handheld scanners.
