InThis Role You Will
- Grow a territory and manage deals from land to expand, doing account planning/selling across our Enterprise, Commercial, Corporate and US SLED segments
- Work through partners and with co-sellers to drive new business opportunities
- Understand prospect and customer use‑cases to drive new business
- Plan and manage relationships at both strategic and operational levels
- Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to management
- Conduct competitive and market intelligence sessions for customers
- Work closely with the Portworx and Everpure Cloud sales/pre‑sales/SDR and engineering teams
- Give enablement sessions both 1:1 and 1:many to spread the word on Portworx and Everpure Cloud
- Leverage available documentation, best practices, knowledge‑base articles and other resources to assist customers
- 10+ years experience selling enterprise software and subscription software, building 3‑4x pipeline and exceeding annual quota
- Basic technical understanding of enterprise software, container, cloud native, and storage domains
- Ability to present Portworx and Everpure Cloud’s unique value propositions, products, vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build and deepen relationships
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating between boardroom and data center
- Authenticity and genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
- Thought leadership, creativity and a challenger mindset; ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position Everpure’s portfolio
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders while fostering teamwork and shared ownership with co‑sellers and partners
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business
- Passionate about post‑sales customer success
- Candidate must be located in DC, Maryland, Virginia or Philadelphia
The annual base salary range is $130,000—$208,000 USD. The role may also be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location; for positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations the base salary range reflects the labor market across those locations.
