Position Summary
Amplity Health is seeking a Hybrid Biosimilar Account Specialist (BAS) to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), promote Biosimilar products, and achieve client objectives. The role blends inside and field sales and requires 30–50% national travel, including overnight stays and road or air travel.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily sales call activity to engage customers and increase sales.
- Promote products via outbound and inbound telephone calls and in‑person field visits, engaging assigned HCP targets in in‑depth discussions.
- Profile and manage a targeted list of accounts and HCPs to grow business in the assigned territory.
- Discuss acquisition costs with community physician groups.
- Communicate letter of purchase agreements to key account stakeholders.
- Create and implement business plans to achieve territory client goals.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for community physician groups.
- Establish professional working relationships with key decision makers, support staff, and influencers.
- Effectively communicate with customers using approved messaging and promotional aids.
- Enter required data into CRM systems, documenting target responses and follow‑through actions.
- Carefully manage promotional budget while in the field.
- Prepare reports for management and collaborate with cross‑functional team members.
- Represent the client and Amplity at national and local conventions and meetings.
- Travel within the US outside of territory, including conventions or national meetings (average 30–50%).
- Report to the Amplity Health Sales Manager.
- Work closely with the Client Manager and assigned team members.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and client contacts.
Required
- BA/BS degree.
- 2 years of previous sales experience in pharmaceutical and/or B2B healthcare sales.
- Experience promoting or strong understanding of biosimilar products.
- Experience with buy‑and‑bill model and/or B2B discussions.
- Experience promoting in Oncology/Hematology accounts.
- Complex account and territory management experience.
- Understanding of hospital and clinic contracting.
- Experience selling using remote engagement.
- Experience executing total account calls with pharmacy directors, CFOs, practice managers, physicians, infusion nurses, and benefit investigators.
- Experience discussing acquisition costs across community physician groups.
- Experience communicating purchase agreements to account stakeholders.
- Strong compliance and ethical standards in a regulated industry.
- Account and territory management expertise.
- Business acumen and resilience.
- Comfort with ambiguity and strong organizational planning skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn, understand, and communicate complex information over the phone and in person.
- Strong rapport‑building, active listening, selling, closing, persuasion, and presentation skills.
- High initiative and commitment to complete projects and assignments.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Representatives may need to submit and maintain credentials such as training, vaccinations, and other documentation required by hospitals or healthcare providers. Geographic licensing requirements may apply in certain regions, such as the District of Columbia, City of Chicago, Nevada, Oregon, or Jackson Memorial Health in Miami‑Dade County.
