Purpose Statement
As a Carvel Route Sales Delivery Driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct store delivery of quality products to our supermarket accounts.
Key Accountabilities and OutcomesRoute Sales Delivery Drivers are full‑time positions that are responsible for selling and delivering Carvel & Rich’s complete line of high‑quality frozen goods to existing and new accounts while driving a Carvel Truck. Key goals include safety, sales and credit volume, customer service and in‑store merchandising execution. Hours of work vary by assigned route; the route start time will start as early as 3 am and averages 10‑12 stops a day – this is subject to change at any time.
Must be able to work Saturdays during peak season.
- Strong work ethic and a team player who puts the customer first.
- Minimally 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record – we will be checking.
- Ability to climb in and out of the truck and carry goods that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- A CDL‑B permit is preferred prior to start. The fee will be reimbursed 30 days after you start and have obtained your CDL‑B license (which we also pay for). If you already have this, great – otherwise we can help you obtain it.
- Previous DSD experience is a bonus.
Lift 50 pounds.
CompensationIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range / Hourly Rate$49,334.00 – $66,747.00
