We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Inside Customer & Sales Support professional to join our team! In this role, you’ll act as a key partner to our outside sales team, supporting both Switch‑N‑Go and Ameri Deck product lines while delivering exceptional service to distributors and end users.

You’ll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing and tracking sales leads, preparing quotes and orders, and coordinating scheduling, shipping, and follow‑up to ensure a seamless customer experience. You’ll also support marketing initiatives, assist with RFP responses, and maintain accurate customer data within our ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide internal support to the Field Sales Specialists (outside sales team)
  • Handle all SNG inquiries and provide support to our distributors
  • Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to always portray the company in a positive manner
  • Compile and track lists of prospective customers and sales leads for Distributors based on leads generated from Internet Web sites, SEO search responses, face book sites, online quote requests, and all other web‑based data sources. Distribute leads to regional Distributors and follow‑up with lead requests with Distributor and requestor to determine if lead has matured to a quote process
  • Be a resource and solutions provider in all instances for distributors and end‑users
  • Assists in creating RFP responses to existing and potential customers
  • Emphasizes product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order contracts and/or forms for orders obtained
  • Gathers required information to process new Distributor credit applications and enter new customer data into Net Suite. Responsible for maintaining information integrity within Net Suite
  • Understands and executes the formal quoting, sales order, work order, shipping/scheduling, case, and RMA processes
  • Prepares products and parts for UPS shipping including document prep, packaging prep and carrier scheduling
  • Coordinate and properly communicate scheduling, shipping, delivery and follow‑up on overall customer satisfaction after shipment is received
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints/problems with deliveries
  • Travels up to 10% of the time to support existing accounts & solicit prospective customers, attend trade shows, distributor open houses and distributors as needed
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, expense accounts, billing invoices, and other documentation
  • Uses prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in designated areas of SNG facility or at any Distributor site
Marketing Support
  • Email and mail literature and other marketing information used in new distributor setup, and requests from current distributors as needed
  • Inform and communicate overall product information through callouts, mail‑outs, emails and assist with targeted list mailings
  • Assists gathering literature and all other needs for marketing, shows and displays, helps get the outside sales reps ready for travel
  • Supports OEM Distributor Co‑Op and spiff program requests

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications Education & Experience
  • 1–2 years of related sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
Communication Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, distributors, and internal teams
Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Understanding of percentages, ratios, and general data interpretation
Problem‑Solving
  • Ability to analyze information and resolve practical problems
  • Comfortable working with varying processes and adapting to changing situations
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
