The Maintenance Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.
- Perform general electrical and/or repairs of various equipment on company premises.
- Conduct periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
- Maintain all equipment necessary to perform work.
- Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
- Perform daily safety checks.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards.
- Maintain, replace, build, adjust, and modify the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non‑emergency situations.
- Perform general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required.
- At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
- 6+ months maintenance and repair or related area experience.
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
- 1+ years maintenance and repair or related area experience.
- 6+ months experience with conveyor systems and controls.
- Certifications:
OSHA Forklift operator certificate, HVAC certification, welding certification, electrical certification.
- OSHA Forklift operator certificate.
- HVAC certification.
- Ammonia.
