We are looking for an energetic individual to join our team as an Energy Technician II. In this role you will install energy efficiency measures to lower consumer energy bills for a variety of utility and weatherization programs within a defined territory.
Responsibilities- Install energy‑saving measures such as attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, light bulbs, shower heads, baseboards, thermostats, and electric water heaters
- Perform minor repairs to windows and doors
- Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
- Ensure measures installed meet program guidelines
- Help keep the job site organized and safe
- Assist with customer site job set up and tear down
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the residential construction industry preferred; the right candidate will receive training
Target compensation $22.00 per hour. Salary range $17.75 to $25.05 per hour, determined by internal equity, market data, and candidate experience. This is a safety‑sensitive position that may include field work, warehouse work or driving on behalf of the company.
Requirements- Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test
- Must provide a clean driving record if driving is part of the role
- Must hold a valid driver’s license if required
- Must be authorized to work in the country without employer sponsorship
- Must be compliant with any applicable DOT qualification requirements and transportation regulations
