Landscape Foreman​/Lead

What we are looking for

Lacoste Garden Center and Landscaping is looking for new Foreman/Crew Leads. Applicants should be energetic and charismatic; with an ability to provide a great customer experience and keep the team motivated and inspired until end of day. Applicants should have experience completing a wide variety of landscape installations including plantings of trees and shrubs, construction of berms and plantings beds, and construction of patios, walkways and retaining walls.

Carpentry experience is not required but will be considered.

• Minimum 3 years landscape experience, steel toed boots
• Class 3 drivers license is required to haul Truck/Trailer and deliver crew to work site
• Strong communication skills; employees will be responsible for managing 2-3 laborers daily as well as ensuring a positive and unique customer experience is met
• Strong organizational skills; employees will be responsible for receiving/tracking and completing various documents daily – these include site plans/blueprints, designs, safety docs, material takeoffs and customer payments/change orders

Our landscape foreman are the front line representatives for our landscape department. Daily they are expected to guide a team to complete various landscape tasks. Beyond that they must keep the client satisfied, ensure the job progresses efficiently, collect payments, complete/file documentation, keep our team motivated and inspired and most importantly ensure all equipment and staff are returned safely end of day.

• Guiding a landscape team to complete various tasks to ensure completion of a job
• Communicating with client to ensure they are satisfied and their needs are met
• Communicating with staff to ensure they are being properly trained, assigned and coordinated
• Secure adherence to the companies rules and safety regulations
