Job Summary:
They will perform basic pipe fitting, basic backhoe/trencher operation and perform as a second man on a crew. They must be eligible for shift work and call out list.
Accountabilities:
- Meter turn on, turn offs, leak investigations, meter changes
- Basic pipe fitting
- Emergency Response when qualified
- Perform other work as directed once qualified
- Working in confined spaces
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- General computer aptitude
- Knowledge of construction practices and techniques related to excavation work
- Communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to work with supervisors and coworkers
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 2 years experience
- CDL License
