Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Preventative Maintenance Technician
As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will combine routine scheduled equipment upkeep with the flexibility to cover varied shifts, work cells, or mobile service needs. This role involves servicing industrial machinery, aerial lifts, and facility infrastructure wherever operational gaps or maintenance demands arise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, lubricate moving parts, change fluids and filters, and replace worn components on plant machinery or fleet units.
- Move dynamically between different shifts, production lines, or service territories to cover staffing shortages, absences, or peak workloads.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues promptly to reduce equipment downtime.
Essential Skills
- Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
- Preventative maintenance and equipment repair.
- Proficiency in diagnostics with mechanical and electrical expertise.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience as a maintenance technician.
- General labor skills.
Work Environment
The main plant features large-scale fabrication, assembly bays, and testing floors where vehicle-mounted aerial lifts are built from scratch. The production layout is designed for heavy manufacturing processes, utilizing overhead cranes, industrial laser cutters, and dedicated quality assurance zones. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6-4:30pm, with potential for overtime on Fridays. Future second shift work may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
