Service Technician

Dream Live Prosper Communities is seeking a resident-focused Service Technician to maintain and enhance our apartment communities. In this role, you will perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance systems, complete work orders, and support unit turns and renovations. You'll troubleshoot issues, ensure grounds and common areas are clean and safe, and partner closely with property management to deliver excellent resident service.

This position requires strong problem-solving, time management, safety awareness, and clear communication while working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Complete and document work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Support unit turns, make-ready tasks, and minor renovations or repairs
• Inspect property for safety hazards and address or report issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds and shared spaces
• Follow safety procedures, building codes, and company maintenance standards
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding maintenance needs
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors as directed by property management
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
